Chisapani to Nagarkot trek ranges from the eastern side of kathmandu.It is relatively easy venture compared to other hiking and trekking routes of Nepal.You will be elated to undergo a short trek through the lush forest along with the texture of different ethnic groups inahabiting in those areas. The trek encompasses well known ventures like Chisapani, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Navobuddha, Banthali, Panauti.
The literal translation of chisapani is “cold water”.For instance, you can take the
word that the venture is an interesting romance with the beautiful views of
Annapurna to Langtang range and starting and ending point of Helambu
trekking.
Apart from Chisapani ,Nagarkot is a jumble hunt for the exquisite views of mountain ranges and sunrise. If you are lucky
and the weather is favourable,the place is a great catch for the majestic views
of the Himalayas including Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje
Lakpa and Gauri Shanker, Everest.
Dhulikhel is a diverse tapestry of beautiful forests , floras and faunas to add to. Legends have it that It is one of the older settlements of Nepal.You wouldn’t want to miss the amazing blend of newari settlements between the hustles of city life at the very spot.
Namo Buddha is
another important site at kavre district commonly known for the Buddhist
pilgrimage and tibetan heritage.It stands at
an elevation of 1750m . The Stupa and shrines built on the hillside is a
perfect blend of tibetian antique culture and precepts. This place is filled
with the legends of a hermit who would feed his flesh to a bunch of hungry and
undernourished cubs. The stone slab right beside the stupa is a pleasant work
of art to depict this incident.

Soon as we are done
with our breakfast, we will set off to
drive around 2 hours to Sundarijal. The
place is a central point marking the origin of water supply in Kathmandu
valley.Down the road , you will venture several water sources along with
stepwells.
Setting off for Chisapani hike , you might as well find some refreshments in a cup of tea to gear yourself trek.We might want a cup of tea at Sundarijal to gear ourselves before we set off for Chispani.Then, we will walk along the forested area of Shivapuri Nagajun National Park.
This is exactly the spot where you will find the watershed for city supply .It might also interest you to know that this area became a protected watershed area in 1978.Make sure you spend a chilling night with the textures of the amazing hills and mountainside of Chisapani.
Today continue walking through Shivapuri Nagarjun National
Park through the forested lland.You will see a bunch of varied wildlife
including Himalayan black and Indian leopad, mongoose, porcupine, jungle cat,
pangolin etc. You can also see a bunch
of wild birds .The national park is full of these.We will also have our lunch
on the way in the settlement of Chauki Bhanjyang or Jhule before pushing on to
reach Nagarkot in time to watch the sunset over the Himalayas.
We can enjoy the views from the watching tower or from
another location before having a good dinner in one of the many hotels, ranging
from inexpensive to deluxe that is available in this famous hill station.

Today we are going to take glances of 8 Himalayan ranges
among thirteen.The mesmerizing view of the warm sunrise will be a welcome
distraction.The beautiful morning clouds and the dewy crispy weather will be a
perfect way for you to get your way to breakfast.We will set off for
Changunaran temple which will also be a downhill task.It is more often known as
the oldest temple of Nepal .It might also interest you to know that Changunaran
is one among the UNESCO world heritage site You will see the museums unbothered
by the mighty earthquake.Also, with beautiful insights of Nepali and newari
culture, Changunaran will be a sight to visit.After this , we will drive back
to Kathmandu .
